Skye presently contributes to a research project at ets (ecole de technologie superieure - University of Quebec)  that investigates the software quality attributes of softswitches.  The research project aims to demonstrate where improvements in softswitch architectures will reduce revenue leakage (accounting for nearly 50% of all revenue losses within a common carrier environment).

   Skye also is the subject matter expert for the     Revenue Assurance, Billing and Telecommunications   Management degree granting programme for Telecommunications at the   University of Nigeria .
