The Skye website is actually a collection websites that are spread over a number of Plone sites.  This is to permit customizations on a specific site to not affect another. 

In addition, the Plone sites are divided into three Zope Instances.   This permits one  Zope instance to be "bounced" without affecting others.  It also limits database corruptions to a particular group of sites, not all of them.

External Sites

Internal Sites

These are sites accessible by Skye  personnel and its authorized agents.  Use skyeport to access al of the sites that are within this Zope instance called instance5-skye-internal.  The port address for this instance is 8085

skyebill:         The invoice tracking site.  Clients will be permitted access to parts of this site.
skyedesk:      The corporate information site as well as individual desktops
skyeport:      The portal that cann access sites across all Zope instances
skyestatus:      The site use with contractors and customer deliverables
skyewiki:         The site used to collect and build documentation on a collaborative basis.

Commercial Sites

These are sites which must be up 24 x 7 because they belong to a client of Skye. Use  skyeport to access all of the sites within this instance of Zope called instanace8-skye-biz.  The port address for this instance is 8088

skyeware:         These are web apps. Software models offered on an ASP basis.
